ROMAN WISH

The tradition of breaking the wishbone started almost 2,500 years ago on the Italian peninsula where people would touch or stroke the bone while making a wish. Later the Romans conquered the countryside, but instead of only touching the bone, they would fight over them, breaking them into two pieces. Roman Wish is strung on a short gold plated chain.
